iGaming Ontario reported that the province’s regulated online gambling market generated $400.6 million in gross revenue during June 2026. This figure represents a 30.5 percent increase compared to the $306.8 million recorded in the same month last year.
The June total marks the sixth occasion that monthly revenue has exceeded the $400 million threshold, with all six instances occurring within the past eight months. Online casino platforms contributed $316.8 million, establishing the period as the fourth highest-performing month in the market’s history. Sports betting operators generated $78.6 million, while online poker segments accounted for $5.2 million.
Cumulative Market Performance and Tax Revenue
Since the regulated market launched, cumulative online gambling revenue has surpassed $12.6 billion, excluding figures from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. Casino operations represent 75 percent of this total at $9.5 billion, followed by sports betting at $2.8 billion (22 percent) and online poker at $259.7 million (2 percent). Over the 50 months of operation, tax collections have reached approximately $2.52 billion, equivalent to 20 percent of total revenue.The Ontario market currently hosts 70 licensed online casino operators under both iGaming Ontario and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, serving roughly 1.27 million active players. For context, the full year 2025 saw operators generate over $4 billion in revenue, a 34 percent rise from 2024, while total player wagers increased 26 percent to $98.3 billion.
