Segment Performance and Strategic Focus
Recurring core and digital revenue, net of royalties, set a record at $7.9m, representing a twelve percent increase compared to the second quarter of 2024. This recurring base now accounts for ninety-nine percent of total revenue, up from eighty-two percent two years prior. The digital segment grew eleven percent year over year, driven by expanded content libraries with current and new operators. In the core division, the installed base of recurring revenue progressive systems expanded by forty percent since the second quarter of 2024. Growth was supported by continued adoption of the Galaxy Operating System and initial market response to Monopoly-branded progressive units launched this year. Management indicated a continued emphasis on recurring placements while selectively pursuing one-time sales for strategic opportunities.
The merger with Evolution was originally announced two years ago, with integration efforts continuing throughout the current fiscal year.
